High Schoolers and First-Graders from Irpin Academic Lyceum “Mriya” and Irpin Lyceum №3 Join Tree Planting.

Students from Irpin Academic Lyceum “Mriya” and Irpin Lyceum №3 planted trees in Pokrovskyi Park and Neznaiko Park. Thanks to the Arbor Day Foundation, we have organized this initiative across several educational institutions in Irpin to engage youth in eco-activism and foster a gentle, caring attitude toward nature and trees.

Before the planting, we held an information session with the students to discuss why planting trees is essential and how it helps our future. During the session, students were able to ask questions and learn about the many benefits green spaces bring to the community.

With great enthusiasm and a strong desire to help, the students joined the greening of the parks. Together, we successfully planted 36 saplings in Pokrovskyi Park and 48 in Neznaiko Park, including rowan, linden, and maple trees. We extend our gratitude to the Urban Improvement Administration for their assistance.

Additionally, the students received a special gift: hand-collected seeds to plant and nurture at home. We are truly delighted that, through our collective efforts, we are making the city greener!

The project is funded by the Arbor Day Foundation.
