Green Wave Ecoclub has joined the global network of NGOs that support The Gold Standard for greenhouse gas emission reduction projects. Certification under this standard confirms that the project leads to real and lasting reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and contributes to sustainable development.
As part of the certification procedure, Green Wave Ecoclub monitors compliance with the Gold Standard requirements for public hearings and verifies information on the project’s stated impacts on sustainable development. To do this, our experts familiarize themselves with the project documentation, participate in public hearings (on-site or remotely), and provide their comments to the project developers and representatives of the Gold Standard. Green Wave Ecoclub can also participate in the development of projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and provide consulting services on specific issues of project documentation preparation, consideration and monitoring of sustainable development impacts, organization and conduct of public consultations, etc.
