On November 25, 2023, our NGO took part in the Training of Trainers on the use of board game methods in eco-education, which was held thanks to the International Renaissance Foundation within the framework of the Environmental Policy and Advocacy Initiative in Ukraine (EPAIU).
The purpose of the training was to prepare trainers who will promote the spread of eco-responsible behavior among young people through the use of thematic board game techniques with youth audiences, in particular on recycling.
The Ukrainian Ecological Club Green Wave NGO presented the Green City of the Future and Waterprint games that we developed as part of the EPAIU initiative.
Members of our organization, Yevheniia Mykytyanska and Olha Banovska, conducted a facilitated session of the games and shared their experience in developing and distributing board eco-games.
At the event, the Nova Druzhkivka NGO presented its original game “Recycle”.
