Keep Cool Mobile: online games already kicked off!

In September 2021, we launched Keep Cool – a project to raise awareness about climate change in the Ukrainian communities through environmental game Keep Cool Mobile.
Nearly 20 volunteers joined Green Wave’s team to learn how to play and practice the game with others.
During the initial meetings and game testing, the project participants learned more about what the organisation was doing as well as about international project Keep Cool. During the test online games, every participant was able to act as a global player and manage their own city by choosing the climate policy.

Facilitation training was the next stage of the environmental game and provided a better
understanding of the climate change issues and climate policy to the volunteers. The participants tried administering the game by themselves and created their own profiles on the developers’ website.

Currently, 16 volunteers are doing a deep dive into Keep Cool Mobile and conducting test games in their communities.
