The full country buildout of i-Tree Eco was implemented in Ukraine with five pilot inventory projects realized in partner territorial communities.
What have we achieved?
Get ready for great news, because all local territorial communities of Ukraine are currently available on the i-Tree Eco platform, for the first time in Ukrainian history!
Ukrainian communities did a great job: they have conducted pilot inventories and assessed the ecosystem services of about trees with the help of more than volunteers.
We are proud that tree caring is still relevant even under the war conditions! Ukrainians are incredible!
The project i-Tree4UA shows that urban forests have been important also for recovery after the war. i-Tree4UA has been spreading across Ukraine and we continue to work on that in 2023. Keep tuned and pray for Ukraine!
