Please note: Oak 7. The Oak Trail is located in Neznaika Park itself, so I recommend walking through the park rather than along Yaroslavska Street.

Start: Oak 1

Zarifa Alieva Street, near the fence of Zarifa Alieva Park – the beginning of the journey.

Oak 2

From Oak 1, head into Zarifa Alieva Park. You will find Oak 2 on the left side within the park.

Oak 3

Walk through Alieva Park and exit onto Soborna Street, then turn left. Look for Oak 3 on Soborna Street, near the 14-story building (15 Poezii St.).

Oak 4

Cross Soborna Street (please be careful!) and proceed to the location of Oak 4.

Oak 5

Return to the building at 111 Soborna St. Enter the courtyard and walk further inside to find Oak 5.

Oak 6

Head from Oak 5 toward Mechnykova Street. Walk to the intersection with Ukrainska Street and turn left. Continue along Ukrainska Street toward the kindergarten until you reach Oak 6.

Oak 7

Continue toward Neznaika Park. Near “The Rebra” restaurant, turn right and go deeper into the park, staying on the right side. Locate Oak 7.

Oak 8

From Oak 7, continue through Neznaika Park, keeping to the right. Exit the park and use the pedestrian crossing to cross Universytetska Street (stay alert!). Head toward the State Tax University; you will find Oak 8 just before the University Park.

Oak 9

Choose one of two route options to the next point:

  • Option 1 (Park Route): From Oak 8, walk through the University grounds (if accessible) to the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, then turn left.

  • Option 2 (Via STU): From Oak 8, move along Universytetska Street past the State Tax University, then turn left onto Sadova Street toward the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.

In both cases, from the Church, continue along Universytetska Street, staying on the left side of the road until you reach Oak 9.

Finish: Oak 10

From Oak 9, cross the street (be cautious!) and continue along Sadova Street. Then, at Mechnykova Street, cross the road and, staying on the left side, head to Oak 10 — the “Pradub” (Ancient Oak), which is the final point of the route.

We wish you an enjoyable and educational walk along the “Oak Trail”!
